DOMINIK FUSS (B.A. B.A.)
Dominik Fuss is a trumpeter, composer & improvisor based in Vienna. Within his work, he is constantly trying to discover new ways of rethinking the creative landscape, including exploring the boundaries between jazz, classical and contemporary music.
Aside from purely technical considerations such as rhythm and harmony, the most important parameter in his work is constant change, while always retaining a distinctive, essential identity. He is part of the broad & colourful Austrian music scene, where he is developing new ideas in own Projects such as VOID., Duo Fuss Leichtfried and BlechHochZwei and in Ensembles like Studio Dan, Orjazztra Vienna and Affäre Dreyfuss. He worked alongside some of the leading figures from various musical fields such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Juan Diego Florez, George Lewis, Vinko Globokar and Anthony Coleman. |
